About Sarah!
Born and raised in Charlottesville, VA, now based in Brooklyn NY, Sarah fell in love with performing when she started making impromptu sketches in her kitchen for her family. Between early exposure to community theater in roles such as Amy March in Little Women and later performance opportunities at school she grew her passion for acting into something she cannot live without.
Moving on to high school, Sarah spent her summers attending various acting intensives. She got to navigate the world of Shakespeare, discover what Boston University had to offer in the realm of acting, and travel to Northwestern University to find a deeper connection with oneself through performance. This journey led her to Emerson College where she discovered her love for on-screen acting. Amidst the pandemic, she was able to explore what it was like to be on set and act in front of the camera.
Throughout her time at Emerson, Sarah has participated in various short films, TV anthologies, and feature films. During this career chapter, she has most enjoyed meeting and working with other young filmmakers with a passion for creating art. Outside of performing, you can find Sarah hiking amongst the mountains with her hydro flask covered in stickers, spending time with her extended family, or hyperfixating on her current obsession of the month. She’ll also make you a cute little crocheted buddy if you ask nicely.
In addition to her love of performing she loves penguins, silver antique jewelry, and stealing her father’s jackets from the 90s. She is excited to see what New York City has to hold in her new adventure.
